Industrial development has also led to the formation of massive landfills worldwide. Even in industrially developed countries. Litter is a major contributor to the spread of many diseases worldwide. Although there are systems for proper waste management, however, is difficult to control.

The types of waste:

The conventional means of waste disposal:
There are many different ways of disposing of waste that is followed worldwide. The landfill is the most common form of disposal and represents a large portion of the nation’s garbage. It requires large tracts of land and have sometimes proved dangerous for drinking water in the landfill area. However, it remains waste management more profitable.
Incinerators are also useful in eliminating waste as it can be reduced to ashes. This method is more expensive but much safer than the landfill. Today, incinerators are designed to destroy at least 99.9% of waste handlers. The only drawback of this method is that it emits gases that can be harmful and cause air pollution.
Organic materials which do not contain heavy metals or chemical composition can be detoxified biologically. Composting and agricultural land are the two ways that waste can be managed organically.
Modern methods of waste disposal:
Waste disposal is a device which is usually electrically driven. Is installed in a kitchen sink between the sink and the trap that destroys food waste into very small pieces to allow passage through the pipes. This machine was invented in 1927 by John W. Waste and water is added at once and the cover is inserted to grind all the content in a batch.
